Veteran defender Thiago Silva has announced his post-retirement ambition to become a manager at Chelsea, one of the many clubs he represented during his illustrious career.
The 41-year-old, widely regarded as one of his generation’s greatest defenders, is nearing the end of his playing days, which included spells at PSG, AC Milan, and currently Fluminense.
In an interview with L’Equipe, the Brazilian icon stated: “When I become a coach, I’ve set myself a goal: To coach all the teams where I have played.”
This goal includes the Blues, where his son, Isago Silva, is already part of the setup on a scholarship contract.
