The 40-year-old’s strike at the King Abdullah Sport City Stadium marked his 17th goal of the current campaign, drawing him level with Julian Quinones at the top of the scoring charts.
As Al Nassr maintains third place in the Saudi Pro Leaguetrailing leaders Al Hilal by six points the Portuguese icon is now just 39 goals shy of his historic 1,000-goal target.
