Manchester United legend Peter Schmeichel has warned that the club faces a crisis following an injury to Bruno Fernandes.
Speaking to Viaplay, the former goalkeeper labeled Fernandes the team’s “best performer” and undisputed leader, noting that his absence creates a significant void in the squad.
The Portuguese playmaker was forced off during Sunday’s match against Aston Villa, with manager Ruben Amorim confirming he will be out for “a while.”
