Arsenal legend Martin Keown believes the Gunners are severely feeling the absence of Kai Havertz following their shock 2-2 collapse against Wolves.
Despite holding a comfortable 2-0 lead at Molineux through Bukayo Saka and Piero Hincapié, the league leaders crumbled late on, allowing the division’s bottom side to snatch a point in stoppage time.
Keown noted that Havertz has evolved into a “too important” figure for Mikel Arteta, providing a level of confidence and match-winning quality that the team currently lacks.
With Manchester City now poised to close the gap to just two points, Keown insists getting the German international back on the pitch is vital for the group’s morale ahead of the North London Derby.
