Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola delivered a warning to Premier League title rivals following his side’s comprehensive 3-0 victory over Crystal Palace on Sunday.
Despite goals from Erling Haaland (2) and Phil Foden, Guardiola insisted the team has yet to reach its top level.
“We’re not at our top yet… every time, we can be better and better,” Guardiola told reporters.
The win puts City just two points behind league leaders Arsenal. Guardiola acknowledged they are not in the “ideal position” but stressed they are “close to the top” and well-placed in the Champions League.
