Real Madrid star Thibaut Courtois named his three best goalkeepers in the world right now, intentionally excluding himself from the list.
Speaking to Spanish radio station COPE, Courtois highlighted Jan Oblak (Atlético Madrid), David Raya (Arsenal), and Alisson Becker (Liverpool).
The Belgian international praised the trio, stating: “Currently… Jan Oblak is playing at a very high level this year. I really like Alisson, even though he’s injured. And I also really like David Raya.”
While Courtois believes he is among the elite, he insisted his main priority is helping Real Madrid succeed.
He added, “I’m certainly one of the best, but it depends on each person’s taste, and everyone is free to have their opinion. Ultimately, what I have to do is help my club, and what people think [is up to them].”
