Sheffield United have officially joined the pursuit of Frank Onyeka, as reported by DAILY POST.
In an effort to strengthen their squad for the rest of the season, the Championship side has made a formal enquiry into the Nigerian international’s availability, according to the Daily Mail.
Brentford is reportedly open to a loan deal for the 28-year-old, which may include a future option to buy.
Onyeka has struggled for regular playing time this campaign and previously spent time on loan with Bundesliga club Augsburg.
While the Blades are keen, they face market competition from La Liga’s Valencia.
