According to the UK Mirror, Al-Nassr is open to selling Cristiano Ronaldo should the forward seek an exit.
The 41-year-old reportedly has a £43 million release clause set to become active at the end of the current season. The situation has escalated as Ronaldo has sat out the club’s last two league matches.
He is reportedly on strike to protest what he views as unfair treatment by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF), alleging that rival clubs are receiving preferential treatment in the transfer market.
While Saudi officials are reportedly stunned by the boycott, they are already prepared to move on and “sign a new king” if the legendary striker departs.
