Super Eagles captain Wilfred Ndidi has cautioned his teammates not to underestimate Mozambique in their upcoming Round of 16 encounter, according to DAILY POST.
Despite Nigeria’s stature, Ndidi emphasized that the team is fully aware of the threat posed by “The Mambas.
“Mozambique entered the knockout stage at the Complexe Sportif de Fès with momentum, having secured a historic first-ever AFCON win against Gabon and pushed heavyweights like Cote d’Ivoire and Cameroon to the limit.
“They are a disciplined, aggressive, and cohesive unit,” Ndidi remarked during Sunday’s press conference. “We know they love to play and work hard for one another.”
