Galatasaray reporter Ali Naci Küçük has provided a timeline for Victor Osimhen’s return following the striker’s successful surgery on a fractured right forearm.
The injury, sustained during the Champions League clash against Liverpool at Anfield, is expected to sideline the Nigerian international for approximately four to six weeks.
According to Küçük, Osimhen is set to miss upcoming fixtures against Trabzonspor, Göztepe, Kocaelispor, and Gençlerbirliği, but is determined to be fit for the critical Istanbul derby.
“Victor Osimhen will be on the field for the Fenerbahçe derby unless something negative happens,” Küçük stated via Habersarikirmizi.
The striker has reportedly personally assured Club President Dursun Özbek of his comeback, saying: “Don’t worry, President. I will be on the field, and we will be champions.”
