Head coach Rena Wakama has confirmed the 12-player squad that will represent Nigeria at the upcoming FIBA Women’s World Cup Qualifying Tournament in Villeurbanne, France.
The roster, trimmed from a previously announced provisional list, features veteran stars such as Ezinne Kalu, Promise Amukamara, Amy Okonkwo, Murjanatu Musa, and Sarah Ogoke.
The tournament, which runs from March 11 to 17, sees the African champions pitted against France, the Philippines, Colombia, Germany, and South Korea, with their opening match against Colombia scheduled for March 11.
