Former Lazio midfielder Ogenyi Onazi has pulled no punches regarding his time under Samson Siasia.
Speaking on the Abu Azeez Podcast, Onazi reflected on his near-perfect attendance in the Super Eagles’ starting lineup—noting that Siasia was the only manager who consistently benched him.
“I think in 98% of my games for the national team, I was a starter,” Onazi remarked, before describing Siasia’s short-lived tenure as “strange” and pointing out that the team lost both matches under his leadership before his dismissal.
