Fulham playmaker Alex Iwobi is poised to earn his 97th cap for Nigeria against Morocco this Wednesday.
According to DAILY POST, Iwobi needs just three more appearances to rank as the third most-capped player in Super Eagles history.
He currently trails record-holder Ahmed Musa (111 caps) and the duo of Vincent Enyeama and Joseph Yobo, who both retired with 101.
Since his 2015 debut against DR Congo, the 29-year-old has remained a standout performer for the national team.
